The Laura Taylor Trio will perform at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 13 at Winchester Cultural Center, 3130 S. McLeod Drive, just north of Desert Inn Road. Tickets are $15 general admission and $12 for Jazz Society members, either from the website at www.ClarkCountyNV.gov or the Winchester front desk. This concert is presented in cooperation with the Las Vegas Jazz Society.
Laura’s latest release is “Have Mercer on Me: Laura Taylor Sings Johnny Mercer.” The Laura Taylor Trio appeared at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in NYC for six years, and Laura has performed in prestigious venues around the nation, including the Smith Center for the Performing Arts Cabaret Jazz. A fine jazz pianist and composer, she won a platinum album for writing the song, “Think I’m In Love,” for Diana Ross. She has appeared at Winchester with groups large and small.
